Antidote November 2009

Just weeks after completing excellent tours with Korea's Sssighborggg, Silent & Eunchurn, and UK's Slick 50, the Antidote brought a massive weekend to Shanghai.

Saturday, Nov.7 -- Antidote @ Shelter with MATT.B and Tagtraumer, with support by B6 and Uprooted Sunshine/Sub-Culture DJs Drunk Monk and Blaise Deville. We like mixing up genres instead of making a night with only one style. We started with heavy dub-step and ended with techno, and all sorts of nifty sounds in between.

Everything was awesome, with the exception of Mao running out of beer in the middle of the party. We warned them~!!!

Anyway -- Antidote is done with China for 2009. We are off to Europe for a bit, starting with IGO and B6 gigs in Berlin, Switzerland, Belgium, and more pending. Nov.27 @ Worldtronics Festival in Berlin for the IGO gig, be there!

Big big big stuff in the works for 2010, can't wait.

Antidote October 2009

Antidote kicks off the month on Oct.3 @ Shelter Shanghai with South Korea's Eunchurn and DJ Silent. Former DMC champ, now throwing sexy fashion raves and collaborating with Korean pop stars, and producing some of the dirtiest electro burners we've heard, Eunchurn and DJ Silent rocked Shanghai, whizz-bang~!

Then, we're going on a little tour of China with another crazy act from Korea -- Sssighborggg !!! and UK's Slick 50, plus a whole bunch of support acts along the way. In Shanghai on Oct.17 we're also co-hosting the after party for JZ Electro-Grass Music Festival.

B6 – Post Haze专辑出版 以及 2008巡演


B6是中国最知名与最多产的独立电子音乐家与DJ。

26岁，出生并居住在上海，1999年开始创作电子音乐。B6不但是驾御多种风格的电子音乐制作人与DJ, 同时身兼著名的新锐设计师，并且也是neocha,com与Antidote解毒剂派队的创办人之一。

早年，B6创办了个人的独立音乐厂牌Isolation，并且制作了大量不同风格的前卫音乐，作品涉及实验、声音艺术、环境、后摇等多种最前卫的种类。同时设计了大量中国独立音乐唱片封套并参与了很多独立电影以及艺术作品的配乐。B6的设计作品在中国，欧洲以及北美的各大美术馆都有展出。

随后，B6的音乐方向产生了更多样性的转变，成功制作了一批合成器流行、智能舞曲、碎拍、Drum and Bass等类型的作品。2006年，B6出版了6CD的个人音乐盒套装《B6 Box》，收录了当时的众多个人作品。同年与创作歌手JJay Wu组成了新浪潮与合成器流行组合IGO。2007年在北京摩登天空以及香港环球唱片旗下出版了专辑《Synth Love》,获得了空前的好评。

2008 年，B6将在摩登天空旗下出版个人全新的专辑《Post Haze》。新专辑将全面展现B6个人最新的音乐主张。唱片以前卫的低限minimal音乐概念以及时下俱乐部最前卫的声响为出发点，配合深邃而悦耳的环境氛围、时尚奢华的Tech-house节拍律动、摄人心魄的Techno重拍，营造完全与世界齐步的电音场景。《Post Haze》将会成为中国独立文化与电子音乐发展的重要里程碑。

作为一名DJ，B6的擅长用他标志性的风格引领听众进入他的音乐世界。首先 B6着重于一些抓人神经音乐的细节，在一切律动节拍开始之前将观众的注意力集中在DJ台，随后让人疯狂的电音律动将立刻让人群进入完美状态。运用现场的不同设备与乐器，B6将一种全新的个人声音品位带入上了舞台。B6不仅保持了音乐的高端与刺激性，并且善于把握操纵不同类型的听众与不同类型的场地，从小型地下俱乐部到大型音乐节舞台都能游刃有余。

B6在各大不同的电台电视台媒体做过大量采访报道，如：英国BBC电视台、全美NPR电台、中国CCTV等，并且在各大平面媒体上也有众多采访与介绍，如：TIME时代周刊，The Wire，Vision青年视觉，MILK，1626以及其他众多杂志报刊。并经常为电影与商业品牌作曲，如NIKE。

In 2004, Zhao Zhao from Hainan Island and Zu Ge from Qinghai met in Wuhan and formed a rock band. Years later, they're now based in Beijing and have gradually added elements of electronic music into their sound. Now they're a full-fledged live electronic duo making a mix of disco funk, electro glitch, and dance rock that kicks ass on the dance floor. Their renegade glitchy mix of Daft Punk's anthem "Harder Better Faster Stronger" has Beijing buzzing with praise for Zig Zag.

两个来自中国的没谱青年，他俩以前在一支摇滚乐队里大玩摇滚乐的时候，突发奇想地想把摇滚乐带到舞池中去好让中国满大街的糜烂夜店里的肥胖中年男人统统从舞池里滚蛋，所以就他们就变成了ZigZag。ZigZag在他们的舞曲里参合了Disco、摇滚乐和一些连他们都不知道那是什么的音乐元素，谁知道呢，就是这种破破烂烂、摇摇晃晃的Disco让人们在舞池中感受到了疯狂的摇滚乐，每个人都想要喝醉并且摇滚上路

"ZiG ZAG"について:
