* We were out drinking with Sonic Youth (in town for a gig) before Antidote and were inspired to drop some No Wave to start the evening. A fine way to clear out the unadventurous types, haha! MHP played everything from Suicide to James Chance to Lydia Lunch and songs from his (and B6) former post-rock band Junkyard. We then had r3 and Q男 play Ableton sets so eclectic they defy categorization -- other than what can be done with that amazing software -- Ableton is a genre now! Follow that with visiting NYC producer Dre Skull, bringing the crowd in with the ghettotech yo! Then Kid Plastik's triumphant return annihilated everyone with the freshest electropunk set. Impossible to take it further from that ... unless you are DJ Siesta, who rocked the room with fierce drum and bass. DJ Fish kept it lively with drum and bass and Chinese dub. And finally Ozone finished the night with Kuduro madness and acid techno classics, past 5am... ouch!
