* This month, for the first time ever, Shanghai hosted rock-n-roll band The Rolling Stones, and Rolling Stone magazine had just launched their China version. We figured these dinosaurs should both be mocked. We provided the necessary antidote -- punk rock records and a hearty dose of rock music that doesn't suck so bad. We also had a special guest -- TEA TOWN -- a music producer from Canada, play a set of his own Shanghai-inspired recent recordings mixed with some nice new shoegazer-electro pop out of northern Europe and Scandinavia.
